"Marina di campo has long been waiting for a perfect gourmet location and finally al moro answers the call. stefano creates it perfectly and andrea leads a tight kitchen, in which generations and cultures move in the same beat: striving for peak performance. an informal atmosphere. a surprisingly rich wine cellar that was assembled by stefanos' years of experience and Savoir-Fära. chef andrea will be accompanied by his wife (and sous cook) who brings a Thai color and taste perma for andreas instinctive use of local products, while andreas mother is a talisman of pasta production and makes under many delicacies an apple cake that reaches her into ratataouilles antoine ego. yes, it is outside the village center, but it is five minutes on a bycicle and if you drive it has its own private parking. my wife and I have moved yards by al moro and fortunately call it our natives, it is a tasty bite."

One of our favourite places on the island and always the first port of call, due to the friendliness of the owners, the quality and diversity of the wines, and the wonderful plates of smoked fish, cheeses, meats and bruschetta. There's beer as well a sampling of quite tasty Elban brews, and of course a large and well stocked shop. Highly recommended!"
