I am a Mareeba local and this is my local pub. Last week I spent the week in Cairns with my mum and visited a couple other venues and in my opinion no other venue in Cairns rates close to the respect and consideration the staff at my local show their patrons. Deb is kind and will always say hi and laugh with you. So does Turks and Smilie. I rate The Ant Hill Hotel #1. Thanks guys for making us feel welcome. read more.

"I just ordered a medium meal and my Sprite tasted like SALVITAL!!!...Disgusting!, this is not the first time. They need to correct their premix drinks. Also, the food is NEVER hot and fresh...extremely overrated and their Customer Service needs some serious work. If a Customer is unsatisfied with a product, offer them something better for a return."
