This was one of our two best restaurants in Nova Scotia. Everything was fresh and well prepared. We had mussels for appetizers and lobster for dinner. Our desserts were also first rate. We had excellent service to go along with a perfect dining experience. read more.

The place also offers the possibility to sit outside and eat in beautiful weather, And into the accessible spaces also come customers with wheelchairs or physiological disabilities.

What User doesn't like about Island Sunset Resort:
There is not a lot available in the area as far as dining goes so if you are staying at the resort you might as well give the restaurant a try. All in all it wasn't bad, a very nice fresh Caesar salad but the rack of lamb just seemed to be lacking something. A seasoned crust, grill marks, something, it tasted good but was just plain bland. "Lovely overall experience! Our waitress Thelma was so friendly and helpfull. We got our food within 20 minutes and the fish burger was so so fresh. We love the food! Thank you for a great service. We'll be stopping by here again next time."

"Love this Cafe! Delicious muffins and the porridge bread is phenomenal. Veggie sandwich is my go to when eating here. Everyone is always so nice and it was good to see them require proof of vaccination when eating inside the restaurant. Can not wait to go back."
