"Big Evangeline breakfast was so yummy. I definitely recommend. The server was very nice and welcoming too. We get coffee refill on our breakfast. The view is beautiful but it was busy and no space by the window. Still we had the opportunity to see the water. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: CA$30–40"

"Luckily got a table around 5.00ish before the evening rush as a walk-in but you’d probably need a table reservation at peak times. Menu was good, service was good and food was excellent. There is a covered in patio overlooking the water which was great on a cold wet day."

"This was a lovely stop. Food quality was great, pricing a bit high, and plenty of parking, however the time from food to table was a little long. Due to Covid issues some menu items are not available. We bought some mussels to take back to the camping site and they were great."

"The Dancing Goat has it all figured out. Great food. Lots of healthy and well, not so healthy options but all delicious. The only criticism one could make is sometimes it is so very busy you don't have time to stay but that just speaks to what a great place it is! Highly recommended. I drove all the way from Sydney to Margaree for lunch because I wanted the best egg salad sandwich in the world!"

"Every year, this place gets better. Drove 20 hours to get here and the donair was worth it, Here's the GOAT order: Large donair, extra tomatoes and extra sauce on the side. Go for it and just be happy you decided to eat here."

"The Salmon Camp is a secret remote treasure. Our trips from Tennessee are not complete without the 30 minute drive from Margaree Valley. We are summer visitors but snow mobile season is their busiest.Tonight we shared with another tourist group and some golfers. There is just something about fine dining in the Cape Breton wilderness.We all ordered the fresh halibut with mango curry sauce. I enjoyed the cream of garlic soup but was too full for the fresh blueberries and ice cream.An adventurous drive yields a memorable experience with special hosts."
