"Dinner on a Tuesday. Very welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. We were in a bit of a hurry and opted for quick dishes: grilled squid and “picanha” (sirloin steak or rump cap). The first ones were very fresh and well prepared. As for the “picanha”, very tender, tasty and with an excellent “feijoada” (bean stew) to go with it. The fries were perhaps the best I've ever had: very thin and crispy slices, with little oil, they are a real must! It wasn't supposed to accompany the squid but, given the curiosity I showed, the owner offered to include some “migas”, also very well made. Finally, the “imperial” (draught beer) is very well taken, another must of this restaurant. I’ll definitely come back the next time I pass through Marinha Grande."

"This is a típical place to have a beer and to snack at the winter time. During the summer you can eat here good fresh grilled fish and watch to a full beach. I prefer the winter. The service is slow and bored because there is nothing to do at the afternoon. The toast not so good like at the hot days but sitting here watching to a empty beach and big waves is perfect. This place is non touristic."
