Good selection of hot food, crab legs and seafood were excellent. Unfortunately, their kitchen staff were constantly busy as numerous customers waited for fresh...

Nice buffet, American and Chinese cuisine, great service! No bad price.

I'm glad they were open and we could sit down and enjoy dinner. Pretty good cooking also

Good mix of Chinese/American buffet.

"Many donuts to choose everything I had was great. The chairs look a little worn out, a little old. I guess the place has been here for some time, but is still clean and fresh looking, except natural, the chairs that look a little worn. The help is friendly, enjoyed a good cup of coffee and a donut. Update, I want to say something about the chairs that look worn out, that is intentional. I'm not much of a decorator, so I didn't catch that until my wife reveals to me that they were made to look old, she says it's called worrying furniture, but I looked around and safe enough that they did to make it look disturbed, giving the place something character, my bad."

"One of the best restaurants in southern illinois. personal management is extremely reliable, communicative and nurturing. the eating and the atmosphere have always been great, but in recent history they have really moved it to several cerbs – the new interieur is beautiful and hip, I dare to say romantic. weekly specialties keep the menu alive, and they are always ready to accommodate my gluten allergy. an excellent, bright spot in carbondale, which I will continue to apply for years."
