Bar located in downtown Mariposa, CA on the main street. The establishment has indoor and outdoor seating. The bar top itself has gold coins placed in it hence the name of the bar. Plenty of liquor selections as well as food. The staff was friendly. read more.

What User doesn't like about Bett's Gold Coin:
the place itself (atmosphere/decoration) is nice. Why does it has to be turned into a sports bar ? A good country bar without TV but with more live music would fit better in those surroundings. The bar tender seemed over busy but had time to ID me for a beer at 2 pm. Their burger looked great but was disappointing. Nothing special. Really good burgers and chili. There's some about the beef in this town, I wonder if it was raised just up the road. Nice people serving, and its a nice crowd....

"Well, it is certainly not lacking for character! It's a funky little place in the basement that you enter from the rear of the building. When you go in, go all the way back to the bar to get menus and to order. The customers were an interesting mix of tourists and locals and the music was not too loud. Everything on the menu looks very creative and they have a good selection of local brews. Everything we ordered was delicious and well presented. Try one of their individual pizzas!"
