"Had a line out the door yet all employees were cheerful and kind. 30-40 minute wait for breakfast but it was well worth it. My partner and I both got 2 breakfast meals and they were so tasty! 4 big meals for $36. We both enjoyed viewing all the vinyls and articles while we waited. A special place for sure."

"Walt from Walt's Adventures reporting from Mariposa, California.My adventuring party saw a small chalkboard sign for the Hideout Saloon. We choose to venture forth to seek out the Hideout. We followed the small signs off the main street, down a stairway and onto an outside eating area. We were welcomed as family upon entering the saloon. The entire establishment was covered with dollar bills with each one from previous patrons and each one had different signatures or messages. The food, as described by the pictures, were some of the best food we had the honor of eating. Their menu was extensive but, unlike other restaurants, this eatery was not a restaurant... it was a Saloon. It was not a bar nor a pub but had the pleasure of referring itself to its highest level name, a saloon. I awarded the Hideout 5 stars because I was not allowed to give it 6. If you ever are walking around a town and see a small sign for an eatery, give it a chance. In doing so today, we saw that the town of Mariposa held within its history... a gem. It was called The Hideout Saloon."

"Decent Mini Store in the lobby area of the hotel. Typical selection of coffees, snacks and drinks. The staff were nice, lobby area is nice and good place to sit for a while"

"And this is a fantastic local tavern right outside of Oakhurst California. After a long day hiking around Yosemite it was a nice meal with friendly people on a nice environment. Kid-friendliness: Everyone seem to know everyone that walked in. Kind of like being in a Cheers episode. Made us feel right at home. Parking: Didn 't have a problem parking are rented Expedition in this parking lot."

"It is a great experience with a subway sandwich in a place like Mariposa. Mariposa is a picturesque city, quite different from your typical suburb or metropolitan region. This subway feels like a regular subway in a regular suburb or city. So there is something familiar to you, in a place that can be a little strange for you (if you are used to the city life like me)."

"After a walk in the canned for drinks stopped. Good selection of beer. I wasn't for the local wine I tried. There was a salad that could be made vegan without the Feta cheese. Fries cooked in the same oil as meat dishes. Not many options for vegans."
