"We went to Red Bud for a funeral and kind of stumbled at the Opera Bistro. We appreciate old architecture and rejoiced that this building was built in 1860. When we mentioned this, our server offered Erin and gave us a mini tour through the building. My wife had the grilled chicken sandwich and tortilla soup she said she was the best she ever had. I had the black catfish that had great taste. We both had the glazed carrots that were excellent. We were feeling at home and had a nice conversation with the owner on the way out when she also knew our friend who left. I would definitely recommend this place, and if we're ever back in Red Bud, we'll stop again."

"It wasn’t busy but the service was so bad. It took almost an hour to get a subpar burger and fries. My fries were cold but I was hungry and ate them. I never got offered a refill on my drink until my friend had to ask the waitress for more tea. The waitress went outside to talk on her phone while we were waiting for our food. I had to get up and walk to the register to get my check. Never again."
