Had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant, no vegetarian main courses and stale poppadoms to start. Waited over an hour for the food to be delivered after the order was taken. The food wasn't spicy and very bland. I would not recommend this place and certainly will not be visiting again. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 View all feedback.
Been our go to Indian restaurant since it opened. We normally get a takeaway and it’s fantastic highly recommended. Just had a take out Chicken Madras with garlic rice. It was totally delicious. Just the right amount of spiciness and tasty with perfect portion size. Was ready when I went to collect and really hit the mark. Always enjoyed the York Mumbai Lounge and when we were looking for houses as a first time buyer (outside of York due to price) we found one near Mumbai Lounge Shiptonthorpe, and it is one of the reasons we bought a house near by. Honestly the best Indian food I’ve ever had (apart from my Nan’s). Fully recommended either for dining in, or a takeaway. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
