I love the goat curry at Angus. I highly recommend. It's absolutely delicious because of the flavours and the tender meat. It also comes with a gigantic deep fried bread. It's a bit expensive $17), but it's a nice to have once in a while! View all feedback.
What Buford Kling doesn't like about Angus Pho House:
Just came back from Angus Pho House. Place was PACKED AT 8.00 pm. A rare phenomenon on a Wednesday evening after a long week end!Per a fellow foodie suggestion, the three of us each tried a different version of the Satay Pho ( rare beef, brisket & special ) as well as some Vietnamese Spring Rolls.Broth for the Pho was pretty oily and quite spicy. Definitely different from some of the ' creamy, coconut base ' versions found around town. Spring rolls were very authentic, both in terms of wrapper and filling. Overall, fairly enjoyable. However, what really stood out was the HUGE portion. For the same price point as say a Pho Metro or Pho Tai Bac, the amount of meat and noodles at Angus must be at least twice the quantity as its peers! Now, that's what I call value for money!!
Really good curry there, with their hand made roti, such a good combo, trust me, try the curry here, u will love it, price is really friendly too
This place newly opened not too long ago (late 2016). My brother in law told me about this place and he said it is all right. I am always into checking out new restaurants and decided to give this place a chance. The decor here is all right and it is cleanlier than your average pho place (I have seen dirty pho restaurants before). Food-wise, this place gets low marks, I ordered the standard pho special with a variety of meats in it. I find the flavoring a bit lacking. The soup broth was lacking, it wasn't bland but the taste just wasn't entirely there. Mind you, I did add hot sauce to it and bean sprouts so maybe that diluted the taste? One plus is they didn't cheap out on the meats.Overall, I wasn't overly impressed, this plaza has a few other places that serves pho and makes it well. You are not missing out if you skip this restaurant.
My friends and I came to Angus Pho House for some laksa after review some photos.
This place has really improved in the past couple of years since renovating The service is good and fairly quick.
