Top Gun Steak And Burgers - Markham

I just had to turn on after the new top gun maverick movie and I'm glad I found another great burger gig in scarborough. I had the hellcat combo and it was excellent! the burger was made to perfection and the riders were with a very generous part tasty. I'm going back.

Top Gun Burger has a pretty good selection of “gourmet” burgers AKA overboard and extravagant. At first, they might seem a little expensive, especially because they don’t include sides and the sides aren’t cheap either; but they are definitely very filling and, for the most part, quite flavorful. The service is very diligent, the first time we ordered delivery, we had an issue with one of the burgers and, even though they didn’t take the blame, they courteously offered to repeat the whole order.

We got total of 3 burgers fries, 1. Firefly~ it had the right amount of heat and it was juicy from start to finish (picture attached) 2. Avenger, people who like a little heat will find it bland and finally 3. Skyrocket a simple chicken burger that was enjoyed by the kids. Fries can be improved, they weren’t that great.

They packaged everything solid which was great getting it to go however I found that it was good but pricey for what you get. I think my expectations were set to high for the burgers, the bill for two burgers and onion rings was over the $40 mark. The burgers were good but nothing to remember, the onion rings weren’t greasy which was also good. Overall I feel a bit let down based on the hype I had ordering.

Food poisoning: I ordered the freedom fighter burger 1 poutine... The burger was messy, sloppy and came with no wrapping, it all collapsed and just fell apart. The meat was soggy. The poutine was the worst. I'm a poutine fanatic so I know my poutines... The gravy was black weird in texture... cheese was not melted the fries were not the right poutine fries either. I had to microwave it at home to make the mashed potato textured gravy melt the cheese. Was disgusting I got really sick that night ended up vomiting early morning. It was definitely this food. So disappointing will avoid this place at all costs... Wish I could post photos of that horror of a poutine . Edit: Found a way to upload photos, see for yourself. Got horrible food poisoning, I think you can see why. * 2nd update: Somehow they found a way to remove my photos and censor my review. Idk why or how... this was my honest experience.... I legitimately got food poisoning while I was pregnant eating from this place which could have been fatal for my unborn child. Very unfair to try censor this. I have photo evidence of what I received... So i'm reposting this review.
