delicious food. also received some good wein suggestions from the personal. you know that it's a good place when my avid carnivore, steak loving partner for a veggie entree photo is from my Beetroot dream, from which I couldn't get enough! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Oarsman:
Sunday dinner was very good, meat was amazingly tender, but could have been rather hot on the table and a bit more generous with the heavy if the plate contains a big Yorkshire doll! two wee jugs between 3 means that everyone becomes aware of taking more than its share! View all feedback.
Not much food on your plate but scrumptious and to die for enough to forgive the small plate. Very family friendly, pet friendly, lovely bubbly staff, super professional service. Loved it. Attention to detail in service and presentation is second to none. Lots of space between tables and right on Marlow high street opposite a paid car park. It's as if they'd thought it all out
What a surprise! recommended for me by a native. the restaurant was occupied after 9 o'clock on Monday night. sa in the bar for 2 rounds of not cheap but very interesting and excellent executed international small plates / bits. house merguez sausage was brave with a hot dijon. spicy lamb taco on a redi-like tortilla; the guacamole was good, but took each warm away from the filling. Empanada bakery was absolutely tender; impressive it did not break! the kartoffels were not chips, but a creative, deep-fried potato-frying egg stick, as dauphinois without saw. the extremely thin layers cracked on the edges beautifully. the lamb crispy croquettes packed a beautiful Kumin punch, but the garnish shanded was not a touch more acid. truly impressive creative approach to some classics; most surprising in marlow. back for more menu, but the beer could be a little craftier. more beautiful, friendly, knowledgeable service. as they can see, it was pretty dark!
Wow, wow! from our meal today. high quality food and incredible service. we wanted to come back. this will be a target pub in no time.
It was a very busy evening and I think that they were understaffed it took ages to get them to take our order, well over 20 mins and probably nearer to 40 50 mins by the time we got our food, it was a good thing we had an early sitting as I was hungry. The food was quite salty as well. We could not finished the foccacia as it was too salty and the rest of the food did have a slight taste of salt. Otherwise, the staff were lovely and the food pretty tasty, I would definitely come back again just not order the bread.
Great service beautiful appetizers, but everything is missing that little something and maybe too much on some erect
