"Good service and the food was delicious and easily shared. We ate scallops, pork belly then duck, lamb and ocean trout, sides of fries and broccolini. Finished with desserts though very full. Enjoyed the Prosecco and a lovely Shiraz. Definitely recommend and will be back."

"Good selection of options throughout the Asian range with vegetarian options that can be vegan, except the Burnt Butter Cauliflower. We sat outside, which is quite beautiful, allies of restaurants in Crows Nest are set up for it. The interior seats are available at some tables and some benches. Good food, we enjoyed the dishes, the Tamarind Curry had a very nice taste, creamy with a hint of sour. The mushrooms stir fry was also very nice. Spring rolls and dumplings were good. "Really nice cafe and bar with friendly staff and lots of dogs. The coffee wasn't bad although had a rather unusual flavour but the food really stood out. Fairly standard breakfast fare but with twists like lots of sambal and hash and my bowl had a whole potato and half an avocado."

"We have been to the north end cafe a few times and always enjoyed our visits as our grandchildren love the play area out the back, on a recent visit we found the play area to be dirty and the toys grubby and in need of a good wash, which is a shame as it's the main reason we go. The only reason I'm giving it three stars is because the coffee is good and the food is homemade and very nice.If you are going without children I can't complain about the food.But no one wants their children to play with dirty toys So, north end cafe if you are going to have a play area please keep it clean and fresh, it is a asset"
