We wanted some pizza delivered for our family last night. The pizza was amazing that's for sure but was a challenge to order as you can only do it through foodora. It did come quickly however. View all feedback.
What Jane Purushothaman doesn't like about Napoli nel Cuore:
The menu caters for all styles, initially I thought it was traditional Italian, the staff and the Chef were the real deal , but then I saw the Burger Menu, but traditional Burgers, I was not aware that Burgers was another beautiful menu item from the Country of Food. The garlic bread delivered flavour , I had the Seafood Tagliatelle.3 Mussels were gorgeous the balance of the seafood was non existent and the calamari w... I ordered a delivery and I was really disappointed by the quality of the food We had a pizza and gnocchis. The pizza was really undercooked and wet
I love this place, it's my go-to pizza place in the Redfern/Surry Hills area. Woodfire pizza? Check. Italian as hell employees? Check.
Pizza base was uncooked and doughyMale staff member was really rude and arrogantArancini balls were served luke warm and average.
Amazing waiting staff, that is what makes the eating out experience linger longer! Which is just what you need when the food is gorgeous - best Carbonara I had in a long long time, and it wasn't even on the menu. Loved the choices of reds made by the staff. A pity we could not round the evening off with a nice coffee.
We used to go to Napoli Nel Cuore a lot because, yes, pizza are AMAZING! I actually should say "WERE" amazing....The last couple of times we went there or ordered a takeaway we have always been disappointed :( Staff pays no attention to detail, sometimes they are pretty rude in their answers to clients (especially over the phone when you try to order!). Another example, we asked to change an ingredient from the topping of the original pizza, they said "yes sure no problem", great! But when the pizza arrived, changes have not been taken into consideration...and it happened several times.Last time I decided to order a calzone (without changing any ingredients to be sure I would not be disappointed!) but finally, the calzone/crust was barely cooked... Many details that made us decide that we would not come back anymore, as we are never sure about what result it could be....We tried their new restaurant on Oxford street (only once), and it is actually SO different from the one in Bourke! Staff much nicer, great decoration etc. and menu seems bigger too. So will definitely stop going on Bourke, but at least we can now go on Oxford.
