Chez Mado was excellent. We had the razor clams in lemon butter, the ceviche and the sole meuniere and they were all delicious. Highly recommend of you are craving authentic french seafood. The wine was also very good and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The decor was classy and modern.
This was a very nice evening. I went with a friend to experience Chez Mado and although it is a restaurant known for its delicious seafood dishes and I cannot eat any seafood or fish, I gave it a try after having been told that the one meat dish they offered was worth going. I wasn 't disappointed although I don 't like to try the veto factor , obligatory meat dish that seafood restaurants offer... Although hefty in price that 's standard for the meat dish in a seafood restaurant) , the filet de boeuf was well prepared and tasty, cooked to the point of my desired cooking temperature. It was lacking a bit of a wow in seasoning and tasted a bit bland but not enough to not make me NOT like the taste. My friend, who tried the fish soup, was very excited and it smelled fantastic. The service was friendly and personable, the Bordeaux we ordered was a great choice. I would definitely return to this restaurant if I had someone with a desire for great seafood visiting me in Marrakech.
One of the best meals I've ever eaten in Morocco. Spider crab was amazing as was the sea bass. The pain perdue was AMAZING. Terrific service.

TOP TIP: Absolutely go if you enjoy fish I attended this french fish spot one day when I fancied something slightly different. It was truly delicious. The restaurant is tucked away in the heart of central Gueliz, the new town, and easily found by taxi. They serve good wines which complement the food.
