Simple and good cuisine, friendly atmosphere and warm atmosphere thanks to the concept of the "piano bar" making us enjoy an excellent artist who of his voice enchants our evenings. View all feedback.
What eviegorl doesn't like about Brothers:
I had breakfast in the Brothers , and it was bad , even by French standards just some very small pieces of bread and some butter and jam , orange juice and coffee View all feedback.
Borthers is a restaurant in the Vieux Port of Marseille. The decor is chic but the atmosphere quite casual with a blackboard for a menu that gets taken from table to table. Desserst and wine lists are on two small picture frames. You get a free amuse bouche and a drink and petit fours with your coffee. I had a lovely tournedo rossini and pate maison for starters and the desserts are very good as well. Its a change from the shellfish I had every day up to then. They have some very nice live groups playing of an evening.

Excellent food and animation too! Thanks to jacky and his team. We spend evenings in love with family or friends and we are never disappointed.
I read several less than flattering reviews about Brothers and I'm glad I did not listen. I found their service to be friendly, the portions healthy and the food tasty and terrific. So much so, that I came back twice! When you arrive, to start you off, you are offered fresh bread and home made olive dip that was outstanding. Their diverse menu offers up all the fine French delicacies you would expect in France. For those who enjoy foie gras, their portions and presentation were excellent. Melt in your mouth steak with incredible mushroom sauce and beef tartar are among the best I've tasted. They even had live music one night that enhanced the dinner atmosphere. Like most places in France, the English is limited and that maybe frustrating to some. Close to the port, you'll be surprised that Brothers is certified Kosher. The rabbi who served my glass of wine, was definitely a holy Brother! bon appétit
A great surprise! pleasant reception, attractive card, very hearty and delicious plate, all accompanied by an exceptional pianist. to do and redo without moderation!
