We were in Europe (Spain, France, Italy, Croatia) in October of 2011. One of two meals that were worthwhile was eaten at la Mairie. I had mussels in a Roqueford sauce. It was devine. The mussels were fresh, tender and delicious. The sauce was to die for. Upon finishing the mussels I lifted the bowl, like a NYC redneck, and slurpped down the sauce.My wife had Duck and Gandingas.
