Literally everything is microwaved other than their chips. Edit* I saw the reply from management. Please explain to everyone why the plates come out 100 degrees hotter than the rest of the food and the beans always are caked over. I have 15+ years restaurant experience. We were passing through Marshalltown and came across La Carreta. We can’t say enough good things about this experience! The food was amazing, our waitress was friendly and attentive. The whole thing was great! I had the fish tacos, soooo good!! The homemade salsa was delicious. Definitely try!

The service is amazing as the brisket taco is by far the best taco I ever had.
The food was fantastic, the chips never ended and the waiters and waiters were so fast and attentive. Love it.
