After passing by this place for decades, I finally decided to stop in. What a nice surprise! The guy helping me was super nice and I enjoyed talking with him. I ordered a pizza with mushrooms, onions and meatballs. The crust was perfect and soft on the edges (I like that). No greasy mess like the Wingate Pizza Hut (uggh). I have a new favorite pizza place. I typically love Dave's! I decided to try the meatball sub, the flavor was great but unfortunately, the hoagie wasn't toasted which I thought was customary with a saucey sub. I was horrified when I took a bite and it was dough from the soggy hoagie. Maybe you could ask if we want it toasted, or maybe the person wasn't trained well. Still won't stop me from ordering from Dave's, just can't stop hoping for some healthy... View all feedback.
