I have frequented Blue Oak since it opened. This has been a go-to of mine for a fancier dinner or just to get a good meal. Quite a bite of variety on the menu and everything I have tried has been good. The blackened tuna and the blackened cod tacos are two of my favorite dishes. This was our first time here. Some of our food was piping hot and some was not. We ordered a fried shrimp appetizer and it was delicious. I ordered the fish and fries. They were both hot and delicious. The hush puppies were hot on the outside but cold on the inside like the grease was too hot and they didn't get done in the middle.
