"There were just a handful of diners for our lunch time meal at the Clockspire which has a large open dining room. The cavernous space was cold and lacked atmosphere, exacerbated by so few fellow travellers. Staff were attentive without being intrusive. The kitchen offers fine dining and yet most of our dishes were over seasoned with salt very prominent. Portions were tiny and relatively expensive, as were wines. Overall the restaurant fails to offer value for money, and we are unlikely to return in the near future. "Some friends and I came to silvers pantry last Saturday. The food was perfect and not too much of a wait however the FOH were rude in manners and seemed more occupied with gossiping. I would come again but purely for the food not the service."

"Food was bad, most of the starter dishes pre cooked and appear at your table in 2-3 minutes. Lamb was terrible, wine list is pretty bad. Tiramisu was made by somebody who never ate a tiramisu before. No idea why this place has good ratings. Just avoid. We spent couple of hundred pounds for dinner and the experience was like visiting a burger stand at the mall."

"From the beginning of my stay to the end, the whole team was exceptional in their friendliness and professionalism. nothing was too much effort to make even an earlier breakfast easier due to our periods. the breakfast and the evening meal were great and the homemade ice was a joy. the room was immaculate like the bathroom and would highly recommend this facility to friends, family and profis. look forward to another visit of the drayton crown."
