Stayed in one of the woodland lodges. Absolutely stunning location, loved everything about this place, so quirky, beautiful and peaceful. Kids adored it too, so much for them to do. What Jane King doesn't like about Swinton Bivouac:
Nearby to the famous Druids Temple, so nearby infact that it degrades the special feeling of the place as people trot around 500 yards from where they parked their car to take a look. There is at the honesty box car park that motorists are corralled into using by signs saying no parking, on all the verges in the vicinity where you could otherwise park. At least with the honesty box you have the choice of ignoring it.... View all feedback.
