This place is really a pretty little jewel. I don't often make it to Mason, but I will make the trip special to visit. Great selection of delicious sandwiches and pasta salads. Various niche soda and other snacks. A decent selection of wines in an actual bank vault. It is a really cool aesthetic that is an old bank. I can't say enough good things about this place. What User doesn't like about The Vault Delicatessen:
This was our first time here and they were very busy at lunchtime when we arrived and ordered, so quite possibly that contributed to the slight shortfalls. Took quite awhile to get our orders and we took them next door where seating is available at the book store. Loved the pesto turkey sandwich. I will definitely revisit either for another lunch with coworkers or after a weekend bike ride.
Food is delicious, and Tad was super helpful and goes above and beyond. Great employee.
