"As others have said, don't let the exterior of this little cafe fool you (though it's recently been updated). If you want a wholesome and filling breakfast, this is definitely where you want to go as breakfast (and lunch) are their specialty so you know you're going to get something good.The interior is clean and cozy; it almost feels like "home", which I guess makes sense given that, above the kitchen entrance, there's a sign that reads "Mama's Kitchen." And it's appropriate because the food is presented -- and tastes -- just like good old fashioned home-cooking! Heck, when you order, you can even have homemade bread. Where else can you get that!? It's pretty amazing and makes excellent toast.Now, I appreciate the menu because there's something on it for everyone: the fussy light eater; the vegetarian; the meatetarian; the chap who wants the massive meal -- it's all there, and at reasonable prices, too! For my money, the "Mega Breakfast" is where it's at: eggs (any style), hash-browns, bacon, a ham steak, and a massive round breakfast cake for about $12. Amazing food; great value; good service! What more could you want in a breakfast joint?FOOD: 4/5SERVICE: 3.5/5VALUE: 4.5/5RECOMMENDATION: Two thumbs up. Clearly *the* place to go for breakfast in Masset!"
