"I would give this place 4 stars for food. It’s an oasis in the long stretch of forgettable food from the soo to Sudbury. A grilled cheese features good toasted bread and mozz, feta and parm. A clubhouse salad had huge bacon pieces and an interesting tangy russianesque dressing. Nice updated decor. We were greeted, seated and served by one person who then disappeared. When she reapoeared she said she wasn’t our waitress. No water refills, or check back for dessert or coffee. We’d planned for both but went to the front to pay where someone else found our bill for us. Lost good will, lost revenue. I don’t get it. We’ll stop again on our next trip but hope for better results."

"The Dragonfly is two doors down from the Massey Hotel. Opened 11 am to 8 pm. Closed on Monday. Food was flavorful."

"Stopped here last year and simply had to return, large selection of flavours of ice cream . I had small one with about five scoops. Incredible value for money, but never have room for any food.some very witty signs too. Great place to stop."

"This was our first fish n chips experience and it was great. The fish was fresh, the service was very nice. Lots of locals and people passing through stopped to eat. When the fishermen stop for fish, you know it is a good place!"

"This restaurant is perfect if you’re looking for a wholesome homemade meal! Sandwich board showed a breakfast and a lunch special. Dirk, the owner/operator is a lovely man, and made us feel welcome and appreciated, it felt like we were walking into our own home."

"We were looking for a quick lunch stop during our drive from Eastern Ontario to Sault Ste. Marie, on the first day of our trip, and came across this Dixie Lee Chicken location. When we arrived here at about 12:30pm the restaurant was not at all busy so seating and service was not a problem. Our chicken & fries order took a few minutes as it needed to be prepared.The chicken tasted very good, possibly due to the fact that it was just made?, but regardless, we liked it. The restaurant was clean as were the washrooms, waitress was pleasant, reasonable price for what we ordered ($16.11 tax incl.) for the two of us and free WiFi is available.We would stop here in future if driving through this area."

"I stayed at the hotel in the fall and ate in the restaurant. The hotel room was spacious and clean; however, I did have a problem with the TV. Also, there was no telephone in the room. Parking was free. Meals in the restaurant were...fine."
