What User doesn't like about Sultan Wok:
Sushi review only- I won't reorder. Note, the tuna roll dinner is just straight tuna in rolls (not 3 types of tuna rolls). It will cost you $3 to add crunch and at that point it's 70/30 crunch to tuna. Also, it's not very clean inside. Supplies everywhere. Outdated everything (including no current menus). We've ordered Chinese from here before which wasn't terrible but there are better ones in the area. View all feedback.
I just order food went to write another great review when I saw what the owner wrote! First, untrue, I always tip I tip well! I don't have an attitude when I call, the OWNER does! I'll find another restaurant as he suggested!
I don't know what happened. This place used to be the best in town. Simply put, the food is terrible. They didn't add anything accept bean sprouts, onions, and one big chunk of pork. That's it. Roast pork with broccoli combo came out dry, tasteless and chewey. I work in a kitchen, so don't think I don't know what burnt fryer oil tastes like. The chicken tastes like they don't change the oil, but instead just add more every time they see it's getting low. Absolutely horrendous dinner, I'm not starting my search for a new place.
I’ve lived in matawan long enough to try pretty much every Chinese restaurant within a 10 mile radius. This place is NOT THE ONE. Unless you enjoy drinking a gallon of water after some hot and salty soup with some pork salted rice and a large order of salt lo Maine! I’ve never vo*ited from Chinese food before in my life, until tonight. It only took a few bites for me to end up hugging the toilet (and I’ve eaten from some sketchy places). Avoid ordering from here at all costs. Everything I ordered was absolutely DISGUSTING! I will say, the general Taos chicken was white-ish meat (not deep fried crud), none the less was tossed in a block of salt with a hint of teriyaki. Sorry for the bashing but do better Sultan Wok. Do. Better.

Go to Chinese. Best white meat general Tso since I pulled here. Good Singapore and great noodles. timely delivery and exact orders every time.
