Amazing all you can eat specialties for a reasonable price

The Sushi Fuji restaurant was a pleasant and excellent revelation. 2 steps from the Sassi of Matera, a unique and unforgettable journey into oriental cuisine, an explosion of taste, an experience absolutely to be repeated. Very beautiful location, well-kept, clean, 2 small rooms wonderful private rooms, as well as the particularity of some tables surrounded by parquet walkways above which allow access from the steps. Very kind and professional staff, in particular Giovanni who served us impeccably. We tasted many fish specialities, excellent in flavor and high quality and freshness. An explosive journey of taste. I think that in Matera it is the best Japanese restaurant among the many we have tried. Very fresh fish, excellently prepared. We were very, very impressed, praise, praise, praise, truly unique. Called the restaurant to order a take away. They responded promptly and gave us information about how to order and sent us a picture of the menu. It took 10 minutes for them to preparare everything and by the time we arrived, the food was ready. Asked to buy a bottle of Prosecco, and the guy who was supposedly the owner happily helped us choosing one that was not too pricey. Definitely an option if you visit Matera (I Sassi) and want to have an alternative dinner instead of typical southern Italian food (for one night it’s ok). Very good and reachable position from city center.
