This spot is great to enjoy the best craft beer you can find in Southern Italy. Refreshing IPA 's are accompanied by Italian style gastro-pub dishes. Plenty of meat sandwiches and charcuterie platters, also some choices for vegetarians. It does get crowded in the evening, but the hosts are charming and never turn a person away. View all feedback.

What sbizzle doesn't like about Birrificio79:
This was actually a ‘good’ meal but TA does not allow for that it was certainly better than the shocker we had a Trattoria La Nonna earlier. We had the Caesar salad and beer fried vegetables. Nice not huge amounts but OK. View all feedback.

Excellent local production, Great experience. Location ai Sassi and staff very nice. Have to try Mostrum end all the other special beers

"A very pleasant interior and interesting menu. I enjoyed carpaccio of beef to start and a fusilli pasta as my main course, which was a little cold when it arrived. My wife chose a bean purée and “chicory” starter which was very salty, followed by octopus which was dry and needed a sauce to accompany it. The restaurant was busy with a limited number of menus. So, it took quite a while to actually get a menu. Only one of the wait staff spoke English and not very well which is unusual these days. There were a number of diners, including myself, who asked for a beer prior to ordering and all of us were served a beer without a glass. I eventually prevailed on the one waiter who spoke English to bring a glass. Other diners gave up and drank from the bottle. Hilarious but most unusual! All in all, I would say that the wait staff were earnest but not as experienced as we would expect from a restaurant rated as highly as it is."
