"A very pleasant interior and interesting menu. I enjoyed carpaccio of beef to start and a fusilli pasta as my main course, which was a little cold when it arrived. My wife chose a bean purée and “chicory” starter which was very salty, followed by octopus which was dry and needed a sauce to accompany it. The restaurant was busy with a limited number of menus. So, it took quite a while to actually get a menu. Only one of the wait staff spoke English and not very well which is unusual these days. There were a number of diners, including myself, who asked for a beer prior to ordering and all of us were served a beer without a glass. I eventually prevailed on the one waiter who spoke English to bring a glass. Other diners gave up and drank from the bottle. Hilarious but most unusual! All in all, I would say that the wait staff were earnest but not as experienced as we would expect from a restaurant rated as highly as it is."

"We came here with a group of friends.We Got the English menu, and since we were not sure what to order,the owner a very friendly gentleman immediately came to help us. We all ordered trafitional food,which was a good choices.As well the white and red wine were delicious,my choice the red wine) was local produce that came from a volcanic area was superb.We had coffee with almond liquer recommened by the owner,which you should not miss.After our visit to the Sassi region We came back for a Prosecco..The place,the food and the friendly owner made us feel so good.Thank you"
