My family of 5 stopped in for lunchOur lady server was very nice with a great personalityOur food was served in timely manner and was tasty.
This restaurant was like a piece of my pastWalked into a warm greeting, and great smells.

"This breakfast place brings happy memories of breakfast with my father in small local places below in Myrtle Beach on our family holiday. I know... by chance. Haha. Sadly all these places have closed over the years and chain restaurants have taken over; so I was very happy to find something that brings these memories back. I recommend their pancakes, they are huge and tasty. Her omelet was made with fresh vegetables and was also delicious. The waitresses are always so friendly and their portions are big and the food is cheap. Another pancake."

"We just had our anniversary dinner here. And they did a wonderful job. Service was attentive and friendly. Oh my, the food was fantastic!! Crad cake stuffed flounder , potatoes with carrots. It was so good , I am still buzzing from the culinary heights. Go see these folks . Let nothing get in the way. Highly recommend."

"In a word, disappointing. We went here for dinner on our anniversary. They had run out of the wine I requested. The salmon was good but the veggies and pilaf were bland. They used too much of the asparagus stalk so pieces were very tough and chewy. The waitress didn?t come back to refill my water so I took my husband?s; he had to ask for water when she finally appeared. She brought a pitcher and filled his empty glass but didn?t bother filling my half full glass while she was there. First and last time visiting this establishment."

"Unfortunate experience This was our sixth winery stop and I was excited because there were positive reviews regarding the wine and the kindness of the owners. The drive was beautiful. Scenic clear blue skies scattered with lush green farms, cows lazing about and horses relaxing in the sun. The air was crisp and it smelled like summer; the perfect day for friends, wine and cheese. It was a beautiful day and we were happy, I was happy. And then we sat down. Six of us. Before anything the owner only carded me, a dark skinned Bangladeshi woman and my African American friend ignoring 4 other light skinned friends. A group of white women were seated near us after we arrived; he never asked any of them for an id while serving their wine before us. My white friend offered the owner his id and he nodded away that he didn't need it. They asked him if he was going to Id anyone else, and the owner said no. He gave us glasses from a box that seemed like it was just delivered and therefore not washed. It just seemed off. He proceeded to take care of a group of white women that arrived after us. After a round of the tasting we realized that the racism was real, and not something that may have been lost in translation as we hoped it was. When we let him know that we wanted to close the tab he shooed us off in a way that was clear that he didn't want us there, but wanted to be rid of us as soon as possible. He slammed the door after we left. In a day and age where we're all Americans thankful for the freedoms given to us by being born and living in this country, working hard, paying our taxes, being good citizens this was sad and unrepresentative of the America I know and love. I didn't expect this treatment, I had high hopes for this winery and I'm sad to say that I'll never visit it again. I'd like to caution anyone who is browned skinned when visiting. The wine was fine, it just tasted like racism from old white men that only prefer people like themselves. Not sure who's opening up in march, hope they're not racist."

"Had an absolute ball with sohn! first departure park we have ever visited. trails were perfect. the staff was super helpful and polite. something for each qualification level. if they think about it, they'll just go. the 2.5-hour drive from richmond worth."

"Driving to Basye and stopped to eat..though the kitchen was closed they still made us some delicious food. Salad, pizza roll, soup and pretzel..all very tasty and fresh. Did a flight of drafts as well.."
