After reading the reviews for this restaurant we went out of our way to have lunch during our month long vacation in France. What a disappointment! My husband ordered a sandwich to which the response was we have no bread! We suggested they go next door to the boulangerie to get some. Our waitress said it was closed and they had no bread. My wife and I had the misfortune to come across this place today, we are on holiday from Ireland. To date we have spent 3-weeks in France and up until now have found every person we met courteous and patient with English speaking tourists. Sadly our visit to the Brassserie du Martray today as tourists was extremely disappointing. The gentleman who served us (I assume the owner) was impatient and very rude in front of other customers. My advice is stay away
Lovely dvening of singing made to feel welcome
Large terrace. Very friendly. Food is as expected and it makes the whole experience quite pleasant.
I recommend it both for the quality of the cooked products, and for the friendly and user-friendly service.
Copious assiettes and friendly welcome. We've been enjoying ourselves. We'll go back with pleasure. Thanks to the whole team!
