"We had our Christmas dinner with the family here. We were greeted with a personal greeting card. The service was attentive, friendly and very fast. The seven-headed dinner was amazing in its simplicity, rhythm and imagination at the same time. The kitchen staff really knows what they're doing. Wine pair was great, licqour if you would like to give as thank you. Would come back."

"In the week of August we decided to spend 3 days at the Gasthof/hotel zollwirt of the leitner family in that wonderful place of St. Jakob. Our 2 children and us 2. however we were surprised by the regional cuisine and especially very good and with fantastic prices, for example canederli soup at € 4,50 or wienerschnitzel - Milanese cotoletta at € 11,00. but we are not surprised at the price, we are amazed at the quality of the raw material and also the friendly service. you can immediately understand that the leitner family lives gastronomy. we can also recommend "hausgemachte henkerln" - fine cut thighs on the toasted bread, "belindas curry" - red curry of lamb or chicken and the maximum is the choice of game like camosco, deer or roe. small wine card, however we like, beautiful range of Austrian and Italian wines, also new world! the rooms are clean and with direct view to a relaxing and impressive waterfall. Summa summarum: top! zollwirt is a paradise! We will return with pleasure. Thank you very much. FJL"

"We gave a try to this place during our ski week in KALS. It was OK but not overwhelming. It's certainly nice to have lunch there during a ski day, but one point which disturbed me a lot was to see a few people in...ski boots (especially children) slipping and falling on their way out of the terrace deck. In my opinion there is room for improvement there. It's obvious that skiing is risky but I would not like seeing my kids injured during lunch... We personnally prefered to have lunch in the Adler Lounge."
