"I have witness the owner scream at a trucker December 2016..i was visiting and spending money there. eating soups, salads, chili and drinks 1 or 2 cafe during my visits . i would stay in my car most of the time .. to avoid older locals that are pretty invasive staring at outsider visitors like me. 1 Saturday i was inside the restaurant . a nice quiet truck driver was being scream at by the owner.surprise i ask nicely to not scream at someone like that. a few days later..the owner scream at me for being there 2 hours using the wifi..i left and ask him firmly to never talk to me this way again and will write about it on the web. 40 minutes later..i was visited by 2 polices officer with warning . to never put y foot there again."

"Does not offer an egg sandwich after 11 o'clock? all other subways do via ontario. also the toilet seat was on the floor, dirty bathroom. is a restaurant in the position to operate without proper washroom facilities? I don't think so! Sandwich builders just threw dandwich together without asking what I wanted. do not go back, although we regularly drive through mattawa."

"Thai food is one of my favourite. This place did not disappoint. Friendly service and relaxed atmosphere. Knowledgeable staff was easily able to accommodate gluten free diet. Worth the 3 hour drive!"

"I love this place. The food is very westernized but still had a great flavor and you can tell it's prepared with love. My favorite is the chow mein, they make it with bean sprouts rather than noodles and it's the best. The owners are very friendly too : stop in if your in town"

"Had an enormously good homemade chicken pancake and was too full to taste the freshly baked cakes for dessert. Great view from the restaurant. As a guest of Valois you have full access to the docks and beach. Rooms are outdated, but clean and very affordable. We were very happy that this place was available and we have one of the last rooms available, would never have tried differently!"

"I'll admit that I was a little sceptical stopping here on our way back from Sudbury to Ottawa... My boyfriend and I are eating local since the pandemic..."
