"I?m a regular here and love the ice cream and all the dairy free options they have. My friends and I came in tonight and she ordered her ice cream and made sure to tell them she had a dairy allergy. They Lady that owns it gave her the whole run down ofchanging scoops and gloves and made us feel very comfortable, especially since we were here the night before with no problems.We got her ice cream and she started to have an allergic reaction after one or two bites. Thankfully paramedics were on thecorner and helped us give her her epiPen and she is okay. I went back in to figure out what flavor they had actually given heror let them know it was a possible cross-contamination and the Man that owns the place informed me that the whole cone and twoscoops in it were dairy. I explained to him that this was unacceptable especially since her ticket was marked with dairy allergyand even told us they would switch scoops, gloved, etc. He did not have much to say and brushed it off like it was nothing.Mainly ignored what i was saying and continued to ask one of the workers if he had changed his gloves. Sorry but the gloves werethe least of my worries considering you gave her a dairy cone and dairy ice cream. After having worked at an ice cream shopmyself and seeing how easy it is to follow the precautions to make a safe cone allergy free, I am extremely frustrated andupset with how carefree they handled it and did not ask if she was okay or anything after the fact. Will not be trusting thiscreamery with allergy concerns in the future."

"As always they are on point. The options are fantastic and you can customize all of it. The Farmhouse on a Cheddar Jalapeno with 2 eggs is my favorite. The Skinny with bacon,avocado egg white etc is delicious if that's your mood. Basically they have all the stuff you need just tell them how you want it put together. Oh, you have to try the hash browns."

"I 've spent two years in Matthews. This place is the fast casual BBQ that you know you want. Everything is good. I mean that. I 'm didn 't start off a BBQ connoisseur but I am now. I 'm not a wings person the wings are incredible. The Po ' boy is great. The blackened mahi mahi sandwich is incredible. Slaw is marinated and delicious. Macaroni and cheese is VG. Brisket sandwich is stupid. The greens are awesome. (I 'm learning to love them. Fried green tomatoes. Jalapeño cheese grits. They have regular and Alabama 'white ' BBQ sauce. Oh they have great beer. This is one of the reasons I hate moving from here. The building is beautiful. There are windowed garage doors with screens. During the fall and spring, with the doors open, this place takes full advantage of the NC weather. You should go here. I mean that."

"It is a charming little place in the inner city of matthews. friendly and knowledgeable staff and owners - they were so passionate about their cured meat and cheese. I had a delicious glass rosé, (good beer selection also) and we had a delicious wood charcoal plate. I'm so glad they're in my hood!"
