And then there were the burgers. My husband chose the Jekyll burger, featuring two ½ lb patties with a variety of toppings (I can't recall them all). It was truly a massive burger! I took a bite of one of the patties, and it was cooked to perfection. My son ordered the bourbon bacon burger, a ½ lb burger topped with bourbon-bacon jelly and what seemed like all the cheese in the kitchen (and that’s a compliment!). It was incredibly buttery and juicy, with the bourbon flavor perfectly balanced. We will definitely be coming back!

I enjoyed a wonderful final meal of 2021 at this restaurant. The staff was friendly and, if I may say so, quite attractive! All of our orders came out in a timely manner, and the portions were more than sufficient. There was an excellent selection of local beers. While the prices were a bit on the higher side, it was definitely worth it! I will definitely be back!

I absolutely love the atmosphere of this place! The burgers were delicious, and the bread pudding was also good. My favorite dish has to be the fried bacon pimento cheese balls. I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!

One issue we encountered was that the food was served at different times, with the burger arriving a full 10 minutes after the rest of the meals. While the restaurant was moderately busy, the front-of-house staff seemed adequate, suggesting that the back-of-house might have been understaffed. The interior decor was both interesting and clean, making for a pleasant atmosphere. Located in downtown Matthews, the restaurant has plenty of parking and is easily accessible.

I have nothing negative to say about this restaurant. Our waiter, Cody, was outstanding—patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely fun to be around. We had a group of ten women, nine of whom enjoyed quite a bit to drink. Cody was incredibly accommodating and made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend requesting him by name if you visit. The food was absolutely amazing—don't miss the pimento cheese balls; they're simply fantastic!
