Little Mexico has the same high-quality food that they have shared with Mattoon for decades. Service is good. My one criticism is that my husband does not like Mexican food, but he indulges my love for it. When we tried to order chicken fingers from the children's menu at Little Mexico, we were turned down. Recommended by a local as authentic Provenance: Im from Texas, right next to Mexico! Where real Mexican food comes from. Every dish we were served here was LOADED with Oregano. I think it 's Italian fair trying to be Mexican food. The only thing mexicans put a lot of oregano in, is menudo. The beans were very dark, recooked too many times, tasted from a can no flavor.
