"Almost the first thing the waitress asked was about dietary requirements which she noted and told kitchen staff. When the other waitress came with menus she acknowledged me being coeliac and pointed out what was available on the regular me but also a separate gf/dairy free menu. Food was delicious and the service excellent"

"Excellent food accompanied by excellent, friendly and efficient service. I had the pork knuckle and my partner had the venison burger with sides of garlic bread, sauerkraut and red cabbage. The food was outstanding and plenty of food. The service is superb being friendly, fast and efficient topped with a beautiful setting both indoors and outdoor seating. The selection of tap beers has local and international beers for every palette. Highly recommended and will be back frequently. The value has to be the best in NZ! "We have been in this cosy place three times in the last few days and each time the coffee has been excellent. The cabinet food is really good and the home made pies are exceptional with flaky pastry. Friendly, if slightly absent minded service!"
