my man and I never had a bad meal in this restaurant. kitchen ready to make switches for pasta choice without problem. Example: turn spaghetti pasta for narrow haare pasta. the personal was a little light, but all the servers were pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu offers. do not be in a hurry to eat and run - this restaurant and kitchen move a slower pace. What User doesn't like about Piccolo Italian:
such a terrible experience from a place I previously visited. we came for a 19-hour with all 3 people, it took us 1 hour and 20 minutes to get our eating pasta and huh. the chicken picata was so anointed that it was unpredictable. the grundpasta had no spicy and the haw was dry. to round it off, the reason for the long delay they told us was because the rude lead order men who wanted to add to their poker night order... We had reservations and were given a poor seating option of a 6 round top for 4 people in front of kitchen doorway I requested an available booth. Served 1/2 glasses of water. $4 charge for green beans to replace pasta. I felt nickel and dimed especially with their optional $4 dinner salad. I’d rather they just included the salad and charged a higher price for a complete dinner. My opinion.
Good Italian cuisine with good service at reasonable prices. A very good neighborhood restaurant. We do plan to return. Veal is on the menu where it is not at many restaurants. Lasagna is a favorite, the veal piccata was very good, the eggplant parmesan was just so-so.
I've gone to Piccolo's many times and food is excellent. Service could be quicker but perhaps its a function of quality of food. I did have one poor meal, a veal dish, where the veal was very tough. One blenish among many meals.
