Babz Bistro - Maysville

This is my absolute favourite place in maysville! they have the best eating in the city! if you haven't checked it yet, you will miss! my man and I have chosen the dinner of their own adventure!

I tried Babz for the first time and was completely captivated by the food, service, and conversations with the owners. I usually take pictures, but this time I was too engrossed in the experience. I highly recommend trying it out! The service was amazing, the food was absolutely incredible, and the people were especially great. And let's not forget about the inviolable Sangria they serve!

I had decided to stop Babz Bistro Essen at Turtleback Brewery so much. OMG should have brought more people. Huge portions and really excellent food. The roast carrot za'tar was delicious! Also had their BLT, pimento wontons, and smoked pork-rice bowl. This food is something of the best I had anywhere, including Chicago, San Francisco and NYC. You have to go to BABZ!

I don't do this very often, but for food in the Maysville and in the south will Ohio area I found a new place! I know it doesn't look like much, but this place has the best fried green tomatoes I ever tasted in my life! Matt did? Sentimental Journey? a spicy pork and rice dish. Got it? Shalom Maysville? the salmon is smoked over rice with an amazing Thai sauce with roasted red cabbage. I'll tell you. Re is located in Maysville, like you in Kentucky over the old bridge, it is essentially straight over the first intersection in a alley (you make a very short left then a direct right into a alley). We've been there twice and last night brought my parents from Dayton. We drove 45 minutes to eat there and it was worth every second of the commute! The young couples Barbara and Al who own it, besides amazing cooks, are incredibly nice!!! Don't judge a book with his cover! This place is absolutely amazing! Great for a date night. We found a place to overlook the river and enjoyed the food with a beautiful view.
