"The local prawns were to die for! A plate Of seafood, like my husband had as a starter, would have been €50 in France. It is still not cheap but the portions were generous and I had the best Frito misto of my life, and I can tell you I have had a few!"

"Still amazing! A bit of me didn’t want to shout out this place.as I’m worried when we want to come we won’t get a table….. But seriously all the way over on the flight was craving the caponata, Sicilian salad And mio dio the pesce Spada AMAZING Plus we had the red Mazzara prawns Sooo good, Paulo recommended a couple of wines that we so enjoyed to compliment the meal"

"Had a balcony seat, which was lovely. Nice view and avoided the sweat-box, inside The staff seemed attentive enough. My review's all about the recommendations from the waiter. He must have known that the veal had a little salad of tomatoes with it and so to recommend a further side salad of tomatoes was quite rubbish. Just veal (nice) with around 500g of undressed, halved cherry tomatoes arrived for my wife. Not what you'd call culinary excellence. I'm sure there are other places that offer an all-you-can-eat tomato fest"

"We spontaneously decided to stop here after traveling from Trapani to see the salt flats. It was getting a bit late for lunch (the damn “pausa” gets us every time! but the nice young man who came to the door assured me that they were open, they accepted American CDC vax cards no problem- and told us where to park. Easy peasy. The meal that followed was simply fantastic. The Busiate cut of pasta is a favorite in Sicily and their Trapanese Pesto Busiate was so very good that I’m still thinking about it days later. My husband had the Busiate also but with sausage and tomatoes- also delicious. Both prepared perfectly, followed by a cool refreshing almond-gelato something with 2 spoons. Still smiling!"
