My husband and I have eaten twice at this conveniently situated cafe in front of the Belmont Hotel. We had garlic shrimp and coconut shrimp as well as hangar steak. We enjoyed the shrimp and the accompanying vegetables and rice. I would suggest that the vegetables have a bit more crunch but tend to be overly cooked, especially the broccoli. What User doesn't like about Cafe El Faro:
This place has closed. It has not moved. Unfortunately it is no more, a loss to Olas Altas area. Now there isn't really any good food to be had along that strip by the Sea. Mostly just bars. Sad read more.
