"We stopped by for lunch yesterday (Feb. 5, 2017) and discovered that the restaurant was closed. A big sign on the door said that it is planning to reopen soon (perhaps for Carnaval later this month?). We have eaten there twice before during our years of visiting Mazatlan and found the seafood excellent. The service was also very good in a very pleasant courtyard. We were concerned, however, because of the lack of other customers. It definitely appeared to be a family operation open for service primarily during the day. We hope that it does reopen!"

"One of the best dining experiences we have had in Mazatlan. Very good Italian offerings and also some other Mediterranean choices as well. Entrees are a little pricey but well worth it if you are after fine dining in the El Cid area. Much better than the nearby hotel restaurants."
