"Our go to place for anniversaries, valentines, birthdays. Bit of a drive is the only downside but that is made easier by booking early reservation time or staying in McCall overnight. Service is outstanding but you don't feel that someone is hovering over you. The wine list is extensive for Italian wines by the glass and the servers are very knowledgeable of the wine characteristics. The entrees are varied and all excellent but you must try the homemade Focaccia bread and the three spreads it comes with. The Caesar salad is the best I have have had. There are no weak areas for this restaurant."

"Ice-Cream alley is his name. It's in a alley right by the lake. When we came here, the line was extremely long, which is normal for this time of the year. The staff were so friendly and worked so fast that we didn't have to wait long. The ice is a kind of kind and they are true for their sayings that they serve the mountain corpusses. We have two pots of ice cream and they were 2 pint size for just $10 that is really a hidden gem."

"Fine dining isn’t prevalent in this lakeside town but Rupert’s is pretty close. Food is delicious, even if the fish was flown in from New Zealand (couldn’t figure that out). Meats are locally sourced and a good wine list. Was unusually hot that weekend so air conditioning was struggling and we sat outside, which was nice but in plastic chairs. Service: Dine in"

"We made a day trip to McCall and had to stop at this popular spot. The line took us probably a little over an hour to get through, which was a good bit longer than I'd wait anywhere else. But because we heard so much we waited! We got 2 different burgers, fries, 1 drink, a kids meal, and a shake. We're a family of 4 and it costed us around $50. A little higher than we'd like to pay considering our kids are little and split their meal. (Our company was a party of 2 and paid $45 for just themselves) The servers were very friendly, once we actually ordered the wait was not long at all. We sat inside their diner, but they do have picnic tables and cornhole! The food was really good, I got the junior and it was sill decently filling. Their fries were great, the shake was awesome. We chose Oreo loved that theirs included big chunks of cookie. Overall, if we timed it right and didn't have to wait in a decently long line, I'd go again! Prices are higher than we'd like but if you're in McCall it's likely a mini vacation and that's typical. Food was delish, served quickly, and I'd definitely say you have to go at least once!"

"Beautiful course reminds me of Quail Hollow in Boise. It is important to hit your fairways otherwise you could be in thick grass, willows, desert sage, water. The staff was very friendly, fast greens today."
