Food was good. I got the chicken teriyaki (spicy) and some temptation rolls. The chicken teriyaki wasn't the best, but the Lo mein it came with was pretty good....

"The Burrito Place has Delicious food. Their beans are so good. As are their lunch plates, brisket, and asado. Get there before the lunch hour, if you can ... They get really busy! Also, thirst-quenching horchata!"

"Stats is a new sports bar type place that opened sometime in January in the old Benoit's building. They serve burgers, sammiches, pizza and wings. I've eaten their twice now. The first time I went there, I tried their pizza (medium thin crust pepperoni and 6 piece order of hot wings. The pizza was dang good. I would have preferred it a little more well done, but it was a well constructed pizza. I could be wrong, but the wings didnt seem house made. They reminded me of some freezer section hot wings I've gotten in the past. Even though I didn't think they were house made, they were very tasty. The 2nd time I went there I tried their hamburger all the way with mustard and jalapenos. For my side I ordered onion rings. On my last visit, on the way out the door, I noticed they had Mexican cokes. So I ordered one of those to drink. I thought the burger was excellent. Generous sized home made patty, good helping of veggies on the burger. The bun was griddle toasted. IMHO, it's the best burger I've had in McCamey, and ive tried one at the other 3 places that serve them. What I especially liked about the burger was the patty was seasoned. Seems like a lot of places don't season burger patties anymore so you can season to your preference. Nothing wrong with that per se, but I prefer the flavor of seasoning cooked into the meat as opposed to salt and pepper just sitting on top after cooking. Again though, the onion rings didn't seem house made. But they were tasty. I doubt I will ever try their other sammiches though. On the menu, they sound good, but I have a hard time getting past burgers and pizza on the menu. The decor is sportsy as one would expect of a place that is a sports bar. (Although I don't think they serve beer yet. They have serveral TV's that you can see easily from most anywhere you sit. They also pay homage to the local sports teams. I like the decor. Lots of sports memorabilia from local /college /pro teams of all sports. The service and follow up service was very good on my 2 visits. My only complaint is it seemed to take a long time for my food to be prepared. Both times I was there I seemed to be the first person there for the evening, although plenty more came behind me. This didnt bother me as I came in the evening when I was mostly done for the day and am moderately patient. But if they are like this during the lunch rush I can see that being a problem for some. I chalked it up to them being newly opened and still working all the kinks out. All in all though, for me, this is a great addition to the McCamey culinary scene. I will be back."
