"Went to have breakfast at 8am.at what I thought was a dog friendly caffe just another customer and no personal around sat until waiting was ignored when other customers were served. 5 minutes later, I was addressed by the young waitress and insulted that I myself and also told area was not for dogs when it obviously was dog bowls around and I was with my dog before. the waitress said it was in order this time. I decided to go at this place as uncomfortable"

"Service was really good. The staff approached us three times. You ask how our food was, another one to take away a plate and the next one if we wanted something else. Nice touch. The fish and chips came out really fast and was hot and only slightly greasy. Still do not think that salad on the plate would prefer the peas, but that is nit picking. Will return very soon."

"An exceptionally beautiful culinary experience from beginning to end. Looks at the chefs for taste, quality ingredients and especially the presentation. We also opted for wine pairing with our tasting. The wine pairings went well at our meals, but we would have liked to learn more about the history and tasting of notes. Unfortunately, due to restrictions in the night before our visit and not to cancel guest bookings, all seats with a reduced menu were reduced to 2 hours. As a result, at the end of the meal we were rather sharp than full, but understandably Maxwell did what they could give the circumstances. We are always ready to return to full experience."

"We had a delicious lunch and the staff was fantastic. The view was as good as anyone in McLaren Vale. Our group took the 2-course menu option and had a variety of meals. All were a great tasting and more than enough for our appetites. The wines complement the food beautifully. My only (and it's small) request is that there is a larger alcohol-free choice for the named drivers."

"We had a lovely lunch here with generous portions, with Gluten-free options available. The Caesar salad with added salmon was really generous, albeit having had too much Salad dressing. The salt and pepper squid was really fresh. They handmade their GF pizza bases, which was great. Customer service was great and hospitable. They kept ensuring we had everything and offered takeaway containers, should we need them. Amazing coffee too. Lovely spacious and amazingly clean toilets. Highly recommended!"
