Bourbon Coffee - McLean

Wasn't able to get the coffee. Drove all the way from Bethesda to here and paid for parking, just to find out that it now closes 30 min earlier than it used to. Why is there no hours on their website (or whether they open on holidays)? Why is there no hours update on Google Maps? I had one day off and still missed it because they couldn't bother to update their hours online.

GREAT COFFEE, WONDERFUL STAFF.If you’re looking for a great cappuccino, this place is a gem. I love finding good coffee in my travels (typically hotels serve Starbucks), and this one jumped up and right next ti my hotel.In addition to the wonderful tasty joe, the staff were amazing. There was one lady serving an entire cafe of busy professionals and not one of them complained. She handed everything quick and with a huge smile on her face.I’ll be coming here everyday on my trip.

Do they wash the espresso machine often? Coffee smells very strange and I couldn't finish it...

If you are needing a quick in and out service, this is not the place. Average wait is between 30min to an hour for a sandwich (that is already cooked, just needs to be toasted, heated and coffee. I was at this location today and will never return. I have been here a few times and this last time did it for me. There is only 1-person working the front and back in the busy breakfast rush hour. This has been the same scenario the few times I have been here. So, I assume they have 1 person working at that store. Long line backed up for 30 mins, does not even acknowledge them. People who have ordered, like me, have to wait long waiting times to get a sandwich. She does not keep the orders as they were placed. It does not matter who orders first, she does what is convenient to her. She had people walk out of the line because it was taking too long (30+ . Overall, the place has good drinks and limited menu, but the service is extremely slow. If you do not mind waiting long wait times, then it's a great place. If you are on time restraint, then I suggest you go elsewhere.

The location is lovely, and the meal and beverages were superb. Excellent customer service, too; I'll definitely return.
