"We stopped here for dinner after spending the day hiking around the area. Honestly, it was absolutely worth the extra trip to the city. The salsa was absolutely amazing. My favorite I've ever had at dinner. I am vegetarian and my friend pescatarian, and we were a bit worried that a little restaurant would not have options for us. But they had many great options for us! The parts were huge! (I published an accompanying photo about my friend's head compared to his dinner). The prices were really great too! My only complaint is that there seemed absolutely no respect for the COVID guidelines: Waiting staff did not wear masks, there was such a social balance with seating, and that made me a little concerned. But I understood that we visited a small town."

"First time at Collins River yesterday, lunch and went on a recommendation of our daughter. Let’s just say, we we not disappointed! Lori showed up at our table with full energy and a smile and with a little guidance from her, we landed on a choice. There were so many great options! Food came out fast, Lori was fantastic! The food was SO good! Note: Best potato salad we’ve ever experienced and I’m fairly certain it might be the Worlds Best! We’ll definitely be back! McMinnville, itself, is a hidden treasure! Great shops and wonderful people! Planning to go back to see at all Christmas-time!"

"Went on a recommendation. Place was clean, a plus. I got the 1/2 Mama Louisa. The pastrami was very bland and normally deli sandwiches are thick with meat, not this time, two slices of thinly sliced pastrami for almost $6, the whole sandwich would have been almost $10. Disappointed in the sandwich. I got a cup of taco soup, it was very good. The best thing was the spiced chai tea latte, absolutely excellent, better than Starbucks. My friend got a turkey panini and she said the sandwich was good but there was only about 2 slices of very thin turkey. The breads they served the sandwiches on were good. I think I might like to go back and try some more of their soups and of course their spicy chai tea latte. Employees were pleasant and location was easy to find and easily accessible."

"Since 3.5 isn?t an option I would lean towards a 4 star rating. Solid food. Not the best but better than a lot of food in the area. It?s ?above average?. We got cheese pizza, eggplant parmigiana, fettuccine Alfredo and a cannoli. Pizza was ok. Maybe the least favorite of the dishes we got. Crust was good, cheese was decent. Fettuccine was the best thing we got. Nice ratio of vegetables. The eggplant was the weird one of the bunch. We are from philly and I grew up eating home cooked Italian meals and I have never seen eggplant parmigiana on a hamburger bun. I was actually kinda shocked when I saw it lol. It wasn?t bad but mentally I couldn?t get over it not being on a hoagie roll. Also the sauce and cheese ratio was kinda weak. More sauce and cheese would of went along way. But the eggplant it?s self was good. Came with a pickle which was also strange for eggplant parm but also I like pickles so we weren?t mad about it. Overall My wife and I agreed that the food was good enough for us to try it again. Lots of signs up about the award winning cheesecake so I will return to atleast try that!"
