What Clovis C likes about Thistle:
This is a treasure of a restaurant in McMinnville. My wife and I stayed 3 nights in McMinnville and we ate two nights in a row, if that says anything at all about the food. First, the cocktails that we had really hit the spot after 2 long days. We had their cocktail called Brooklyn #2. It was so good that I had 2 the first night and 2 of the same the 2nd night. What Jan H doesn't like about Thistle:
Made reservations by telephone voicemail as directed. When we arrived on time, the restaurant was dark and the door was locked. While standing at the door, another person arrived who had also made reservations. No sign on door or any indication they were closed or opening later. What a waste of time and energy!! We had reservations for 10/4 an when we arrived the restaurant was closed. No communication from the team in advance. Super disappointed
