Shere Punjab Inn Private - Mecheda

This place is located on the highway and a very good place to have your dinner at anytime in the night. They serve quality food, price may seem a bit high but the quality of food is really great. Don't forget to try Egg Tadka, it is awesome. Also, they have a separate bar cum restaurant where thay serve various kind of drinks. Overall a good place to stop in the highway.

That was the first time we visited there, quality foods are available in affordable price. Kolaghat and Sher-e-Punjab are similar words. People looking for peace can check out other roadside Dhabas, but after a long drive if you really want some lip-smacker you stop here.

Kebabs, Tandoor, Roti and Naan items are a must here. Pretty good. Schezwan fried rice is better than the regular fried rice. Chinese items are decent but not the best. Service is quick and ambience is good. Suggestion A group of 4 6 people will reduce the cost per head. Bonus A new building is also under construction which will expand the seating capacity more along with other amenities

The taste and quality of the food is just awesome and it lives up to its name. The property is just huge. The only issue is you need to wait a lot for your turn for the table as this place hype is throughout Kolkata So it turns out to be crowded most of the times I visited

Ride from Kolkata to here was such a pain because of the insane traffic. This restro bar is huge and has really good food. We tried Egg dal tadka 5/5 Special chicken Kadhai 4/5 Fried aloo paratha with sweet chutney and aloo sabji 3.5/5 Butter garlic naan 3.5/5 Afghani chicken kebab 5/5 (4 pieces/plate) Cons 1. The portion is too less, 400 approx for chicken Kadhai with 2 pieces 2. Plates and glasses weren’t that clean so be careful
